Beautiful peonies! So you’re a gifted photographer too! We had large bushes of these blooming beauties where I grew up. We lived in a small two-bedroom cottage on a short street with only eight houses — also small cottages — and every spring the peonies and iris defined our neighborhood. Front yards and back. It’s a lovely place to go this morning for a memory visit — back to childhood fragrances.

Will you now paint a peony?

I should give painting it a try, with Painter. I took some courses in that but I’m not very good (lack of practice). I just happened to see these beauties yesterday in the alley right next to my garage. It’s very overgrown there and last year I struggled to clear out enough of debris so I’d be able to mow it. I don’t think I could get the mower past the flowers though so I guess I’ll have to weed whip instead. They are a gorgeous flower aren’t they? ;)

Thank you!

I’ve only loaded one full size up (well, not full size, that would have been huge), it’s at 3DCommune: http://tinyurl.com/5xrh3g I might load them later because those little ones don’t do justice ;)
