So how ironic that I looked at your website earlier today and you hadn’t updated, and then ALL OF A SUDDEN you update TWICE in one day AFTER I look! Sheesh!

I thought I remembered you buying beets. But I don’t remember. You bought a lot. What is that hugely tall thing!?!? I want to know!

P.S. Corn looks like it’s coming along nicely :) I want some!

I have Bill the Cat for an icon?! How did that happen???

I have 3 hugely tall things and after asking around they are either weeds or sunflowers. I don’t think I bought sunflowers either and I wouldn’t have planted them in the middle of the garden :p So I’m betting weeds but I never saw a weed like that. They have huge leaves and anyway, my bean plants are all wrapped up on them now.

So hmm, this looks more like a radish than a beet but I can see me buying beets. How come I only have one?

I have a thing set up to give anyone without a default avatar Bill ;)

Isn’t that weird? I was here last night and saw no up to date posts. Then this morning there is a comment from you on my blog and you updated twice and I see that other comment saying the same thing! What’s up with that?

Good question, I’ve been slacking ;)

  6. sliloh says:

Oh yeah Mir…it is most definitely a radish. And guess what else I found that I didn’t remember planting? Cucumbers. Heh, I should have saved all those seed packets. I thought that was just another squash plant. ;)

  7. Miranda says:

I totally remember you buying cucumbers. But yeah, saving the seed packets would have been a good idea.

    Radish, huh? Interesting….

My garden looks a bit like your garden except that my garden isn’t supposed to be greeen. It’s supposed to be a courtyard. I know it needs work, but it’s toooooo cold out there.

  9. sliloh says:

I wouldn’t be out working in the cold either! I don’t even really like doing it when it’s warm ;)

    Hi,
Thank-you for this blog post, and the opportunity to connect with others.

All the plants in the backyard appear too massive or big, like a overgrowth that would prevent access to the picnic table. If not that then block the view, or make me feel like being in a enclosed space. And for the love of radishes, I would be on the hunt and probaly on my knees. The thought of only one radish creates a problem for me in that jungle looking space. But I do see the green tomatoes on the vine, another favorite vegetable. Thanks for the opportunity to share a view of your backyard, for it is still all so beautiful! I could sit and draw vine plants for extended periods of time.
