Can you even grasp
The meaning of a mother's love?
You take him away and now he'll never be,
All those life experiences he'll never see.
And can you even grasp
The duty in a mother's role?
Swore I'd protect him 'til the day I die,
Now that he's gone why am I still alive?
And you can't even grasp
The feeling in a mother's heart!
I try to save him with all my might,
He needs to have a life before he sees your light!
But maybe you can grasp
The pleading of a mother's soul,
Don't let him go into the arms of death,
I'll force into him a mother's loving breath......
~~~
And the hands of the clock move from right
to left,
Bringing back my baby from the Broken Edge of Death
And the heartbeat of my son
Is racing mine.
Many thanks to Dan for putting words to my image that I couldn't find myself. ;)
